Codan (ASX: CDA) reported revenue of $875 million, up 30% on FY25 with shares soaring by over 12%. This was driven by strong financial performance in Codan’s Metal Detection segment, with revenue up 42% to $362 million. The Company earnings momentum continued, EBIT up 67% vs FY25 to $244.1 million and NPAT up 69%, both slightly above the guidance provided to the market in the most recent trading update. The Group’s performance reflected disciplined execution of the company’s strategic plan and the strength of Codan’s differentiated technology and product portfolio.

 

Universal Store (ASX: UNI) shares climbed over 17% yesterday following a strong result, with group sales jumping 12.9% in FY26 to $376.1 million as margin expansion continued, with gross profit margin up 140 bps and underlying EBIT increasing 17.2% to $64.0 million, supporting a 16.3% lift in underlying NPAT to $40.5 million. Cash generation remained strong, ending the year with $23.3 million net cash. The Company declared a fully franked full‑year dividend of 43.0 cps, up 11.7%, and closed FY26 with 123 stores across Universal Store, Perfect Stranger and THRILLS, and plans to open 16-20 new stores in FY27 underscoring continued network growth. 

 

SHAPE Australia (ASX: SHA) delivered a standout FY26 result, with revenue surpassing $1.2 billion, alongside dividends and profit rising 42% and 50% respectively. Profitability grew faster than the top line, with EBITDA climbing 53% to $50.1 million and NPAT rising 50% to $31.7 million clear evidence of growing operating leverage. Earnings per share increased 49% to 38.1 cents. With an identified pipeline of approximately $4.8 billion and backlog orders of $628.4 million heading into FY27, SHAPE's diversification strategy is well positioned to capitalise on higher-margin sectors such as data centres and modular construction.

 

Wagners Holding Company (ASX: WGN) delivered strong FY26 revenue of $503.9 million reflecting a 17% increase compared to FY25. The company’s core Construction materials business grew 28% whilst its Composite Fibre Technology products grew 36%, overall reflecting an operating EBIT of $67.2 million, +61% vs FY25. Wagners remains well positioned to benefit from significant infrastructure, industrial and residential construction activity across South-East Queensland, including opportunities associated with the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

 

Shares in DXN Limited (ASX: DXN) were up as much as 28% this week, continuing a strong run over recent months, after announcing a A$4.1M contract for Melbourne Airport to deliver an Edge data centre, plus an additional ~A$1.6M variation order to an existing contract with Globalstar.

 

Lycopodium (ASX: LYL) shares jumped 14% after the Company posted FY26 results within guidance and lifted its full-year dividend by 69% on FY25. It reported revenue of $377.5 million and NPAT of $40.2 million, and declared a fully franked final dividend of 37cps, taking full-year DPS to 59c. The Company guided FY27 revenue of $540–580 million and NPAT of $54–58 million, underpinned by $661 million in committed contracts, several recent project wins, and a strengthening pipeline across its regional hubs. It was also awarded the EPCM contract for development of a new silver oxide plant at San Cristóbal Mine in Bolivia, valued at A$37 million.

 

Equus Energy (ASX: EQU) has delivered two updates on its 100%-owned Equus Gas Project. Pre-FEED confirms a capital-efficient development for the 1.7 Tcf gas and 38 MMbbl condensate resource, with a Project NPV10 of US$867 million, 31% IRR and two-year payback on ~US$1.25 billion initial capital. Equus has also signed a binding 10-year Gas Sales Agreement with Alcoa for 50 TJ/day of domestic gas, securing its foundation customer and up to US$30 million in funding toward FEED. Shares in Midas Minerals (ASX: MM1) continued to surge after it returned wide, high-grade copper-silver intercepts from drilling at the Spaatzu prospect, part of its Otavi Copper Project in Namibia. Midas is aggressively drilling at Otavi, with seven rigs operating and plans to increase to nine rigs in total. An initial Resource for Spaatzu and Deblin deposits, and updated T-13 Resource, expected in Q1 CY2027.

Euroz Hartleys increased its price target on Midas Minerals (ASX: MM1) to $1.70sh (upside of ~46% on $1.16/sh at the time of writing) following high-grade copper-silver results from Spaatzu at its Otavi Project in Namibia. "MM1 is one of our highest conviction advanced copper exploration stories," Euroz report said.

 

Taylor Collison has initiated coverage on Auric Mining (ASX: AWJ) with a Speculative Buy rating, describing the integrated Munda and Burbanks Scoping Study as the moment Auric transitions from a toll-treatment-dependent producer to an owner-operator in control of its own destiny. With a strong cash position, no debt, and a major resource extension drilling program now underway across a substantial Goldfields landholding, Taylor Collison treats their price target as a base case, noting significant upside not yet reflected in the model.

METALS AND MINING

 

American Tungsten & Antimony (ASX: AT4) was selected by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to commence negotiations for a potential financial award of up to US$18 million for its ASCEND-Sb antimony smelting project, one of nine projects selected nationally under a US$162 million DOE critical minerals funding program. AT4 will now negotiate the scope and terms of any funding package with the DOE, including assessing the potential allocation of funds to the ASCEND-Sb Project and potentially other assets, including the Del Sol Refinery in Nevada. The company cautioned that selection for negotiations does not guarantee an award, with funding subject to successful completion of negotiations and execution of a formal agreement. Aurum Resources (ASX: AUE) extended gold mineralisation at its 3.22Moz Boundiali Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire, with latest drilling returning high-grade results both within and outside the current Mineral Resource at the BST1 deposit and BST2 prospect. AuKing Mining (ASX: AKN) agreed to acquire 100% of Green Exploration, expanding its critical minerals portfolio in Malawi with the Machinga Heavy Rare Earths, Salambidwe Rare Earths, Ngala Hill Copper/PGE and Karonga Copper projects. AuKing plans to commence exploration following completion of the acquisition and is also considering a copper-focused spin-off combining Ngala Hill and Karonga with its existing copper interests. Ark Mines (ASX: AHK) reported total heavy minerals averaged 3.5% from its Stage 3 resource expansion drilling and assay program at the Sandy Mitchell Rare Earth and Heavy Minerals Project in North Queensland. All 218 holes intersected heavy mineral sands from surface to bedrock, with results consistent with the drilling that supported the existing 71.8Mt Measured Mineral Resource. Australian Mines (ASX: AUZ) advanced water supply studies for its 100%-owned Flemington Scandium Project in New South Wales as part of the fast-tracked Pre-Feasibility Study assessing the potential to scale annual scandium oxide production from 60 tpa to up to 180 tpa. The company has confirmed its existing Water Access Licence WAL41718 remains current and valid, providing a baseline water supply for the project, while supplementary surface water and groundwater sources are also being evaluated.

 

Many Peaks Minerals (ASX: MPK) has reported a further 54 RC drill hole results from the ongoing extension and delineation drilling program at the Ferké Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire, with the latest 5,988m of drilling continuing to demonstrate strong continuity of gold mineralisation at the Ouarigue prospect. WA Gold (ASX: WAU) identified new gold anomalism and follow-up drill targets at its 100%-owned Bullabulling Project in Western Australia. Results included 2m at 0.16g/t Au from 52m to end-of-hole within the interpreted Bullabulling Shear Zone, approximately 160m from a historical end-of-hole anomaly, and 4m at 0.25g/t Au from 40m to end-of-hole along a regional-scale ultramafic contact, where drilling has defined a +20ppb gold anomalous trend over approximately 2.6km of strike. Chariot Resources (ASX: CC9) entered into a binding term sheet with C&D, ZhongNuo and C&C Minerals in relation to one project to be selected from the Fonlo, Iganna and Saki project areas. Sierra Nevada Gold (ASX: SNX) returned further high-grade copper-gold rock chip results at its As Safra Project in Saudi Arabia, including 15.8% Cu at SAF142 and 5.83g/t Au with 3.26% Cu at SAF147. The results defined a new undrilled copper target near North Central, expanded the As Safra SE and southern polymetallic breccia targets, and will feed into an expanded Phase 2 drilling program expected within eight weeks. Canadian Phosphate (ASX: CP8) extended the known strike of the Phosphate Main Zone by more than 3km at its Wapiti Phosphate Project in British Columbia, with all eight drillholes completed so far intersecting the target zone. The holes represent around a third of the planned 3,000m 2026 program, with drilling due to finish in September and initial assay results expected in the September quarter. The company also began trading on the OTCQB Venture Market in the US under the ticker "CPHOF", broadening its access to North American investors and aligning its capital markets presence with its North American asset base, while its primary listing remains on the ASX under "CP8".

 

Burley Minerals (ASX: BUR) successfully completed the maiden RC drilling programme at the North and Step-Out Targets within its 100%-owned Cane Bore Iron Ore Project. A total of 59 reverse circulation (RC) drill holes were completed for 1,009m, with drilling depths generally ranging from 10–20m and selected holes extended to 30m to test potential iron-bearing formations. Assay results of the RC samples are expected by late September.

 

Metro Mining (ASX: MMI) shipped 700,000 wet metric tonnes of bauxite from Bauxite Hills in July 2026. Ikamba went offline from 20–27 July to replace four hydraulic cylinders on Crane 1 and returned to full capacity on 30 July, with geared vessels maintaining shipments during the outage. Ragnar Metals (ASX: RAG) provided an update on exploration activities at its Harnäs Gold Project, where the Company has completed a 14-hole diamond drilling program targeting extensions to known gold mineralisation and prospective high-grade gold shoots. The results, including grades of up to 13.6 g/t Au, support our interpretation that Harnäs hosts multiple higher-grade gold shoots that remain open at depth and down plunge. These provide clear targets for follow-up drilling and demonstrate the potential to materially expand the known mineralised footprint.

 

Koonenberry Gold (ASX: KNB) has commenced RC/diamond drilling at its Dunedoo Copper-Gold Project in the Lachlan Fold Belt, NSW. Up to four holes will test Bolinda Vale, an undrilled copper target defined by a 1.6km x 0.45km IP chargeability anomaly coincident with an 800m copper soil anomaly. A traverse of RC holes will then test gold-silver anomalism at Hillside, which previously returned up to 1.24g/t Au. It's the first systematic drill test of both targets, with assays to follow.

 

INDUSTRIAL

Ambertech Limited (ASX: AMO) delivered a reset with its FY26 results. Revenue held broadly steady at $97.8m while a $2.3m statutory loss was driven entirely by one-off, non-cash actions including a goodwill impairment, targeted inventory provisions and restructuring, taken to clear legacy stock, sharpen the brand portfolio and simplify the cost base. FY26's write-downs reset the cost-base for margin recovery and renewed growth in FY27.

 

Advanced Braking Technology (ASX: ABV) announces that its BRAKEiQ™ technology has been confirmed, through independent testing at the University of Pretoria, as meeting the MOSH TRL4 ISO 21815 specification that forms a critical part of the TRL4-level traffic management program mandated by the Minerals Council in South Africa, representing a major step in progressing CAS Level 9 (CAS9) certification.

 

Laserbond (ASX: LBL) delivered growth in both revenue and profitability despite a more challenging operating environment in the second half, building on the strategic investments made over the prior two years. Growth in Products and continued margin strength in Services were complemented by a significant milestone in the Technology division, with completion of the modular laser cell for Komatsu further confirming the commercial potential of the Company's proprietary technology.

 

TECHNOLOGY

 

AnteoTech (ASX: ADO) executed a Strategic Collaboration and Sales Agreement with South Korea’s Xerabrid Corporation to jointly develop, market, manufacture and sell a high-performance battery separator combining Anteo S™ with Xerabrid’s Ceramic Coated Separator technology. Since May, the companies have met with seven international battery manufacturers and OEMs, including across defence eVTOL/drones and consumer electronics, with all seven requesting samples, including one 1,000-metre roll for prototyping. Samples are targeted for delivery by October, with the focus now on customer testing and conversion to commercial sales ahead of Xerabrid’s planned commercial manufacturing scale-up in CY2027. Etherstack (ASX:ESK) delivered record first-half revenue of $8.5 million for 1H FY26, up 40% on pcp and equivalent to more than 80% of full-year FY25 revenue, driven by 23% growth in project revenue and a 120% surge in recurring support revenues. ESK is guiding to a stronger second half relative to both H2 FY25 and H1 FY26 as contracted project milestones are delivered, with expanding international MCX-IWF opportunities and defence-sector prospects in Australia and the UK.

 

Playside Studios (ASX: PLY) beat top line guidance expectations in FY26 with revenue of $54.9 million, a 13% increase compared to FY25. The company reported EBITDA of $15.5 million and NPAT of $5.4 million, both reversing prior-year losses. Original IP revenue nearly doubled to $34.7m, driven by MOUSE: P.I. For Hire, the Company's most successful launch, generating US$28m in gross sales and surpassing 1 million units sold. PlaySide will reveal Game of Thrones: War for Westeros at Gamescom and launch Dumb Ways to Build on PC and console on 10 September, as it builds out its original IP pipeline.

 

BIOTECH

 

Radiopharm Theranostics (ASX: RAD) has received a positive recommendation from its Data Safety and Monitoring Committee (DSMC) to advance RAD202 to the next dose level of 180mCi in the Phase 1 ‘HEAT’ clinical trial in patients with HER2-positive advanced solid tumors. The DSMC is a multidisciplinary committee that conducts detailed reviews of study data, discusses potential safety events and provides recommendations regarding trial continuation.

 

Tetratherix (ASX: TTX) reported its first-ever revenue of $4.2 million from a licensing agreement and completion of its first FDA submissions for bone regeneration products Tegenix and TegenEOS. The company launched its Precision Medicine franchise, advanced Tutelix and TetraDerm clinical trials, and began construction of a Sydney manufacturing facility backed by a $3.3 million government grant, strengthening its balance sheet by $20 million during the year.

 

CORPORATE NEWS

 

Neurotech International (ASX: NTI) appointed Mark Davies as Executive Chairman, transitioning from his previous role as Non-Executive Chairman as the company moves into its next stage of development. Mr Davies will take a more active role in Neurotech’s strategic and operational leadership, including corporate strategy, capital markets and funding initiatives, partnering and licensing activities, investor engagement, governance and oversight of clinical and regulatory programs. The appointment comes as Neurotech increases its focus on the Phase III development program for NTI164 in Autism Spectrum Disorder, alongside its funding strategy and potential partnering and licensing opportunities.

 

Decirdr AI (ASX: DAI) appointed Andre Liao as Chief Executive Officer of Sugarwork, Inc. the Company’s US-based knowledge capture and workflow automation business, effective August 24, 2026. The company’s current CEO and co-founder, Vanessa Liu, will work closely with Mr Liao throughout the transition period following which she will join the board of Decidr U.S. Inc.

Sparc Technologies (ASX: SPN) is raising up to A$2.5M through a Share Purchase Plan and Placement to accelerate commercialisation of ecosparc®, following two international coatings manufacturers, including AkzoNobel, releasing ecosparc®-enhanced products since May 2026. Sparc is targeting multiple new commercial coatings products over the next 6–12 months from more than 20 active testing programs with industry leaders. Shares will be issued at 17.5 cents, with Sparc Directors subscribing for ~A$70K in the placement, subject to shareholder approval.
