On this episode of Vantage Point Podcast, Orbital's CEO Stephen and CFO Mark join us to talk through how the business has repositioned itself over the past two years. They unpack Orbital's proprietary dual fuel injection technology, which allows its two-stroke engines to run cleanly on heavy fuel at altitude, something competitors coming from gasoline and hobby engines still struggle with, and why that translates into market-leading time between overhauls and a lower cost of ownership for operators.

Stephen and Mark walk us through Orbital's three go-to-market models, from the historical partnership program built around tier-one military customers, to the emerging "power by the hour" model, where drone operators lease engines rather than buy them outright. We also get into the commercial opportunities now opening up in pipeline and infrastructure surveying, logistics, and agriculture, and why the company is targeting a more even split between defence and commercial revenue in the years ahead.

It's a candid conversation about diversifying away from customer and product concentration, overcoming a reputation for being expensive, and what's actually changing in the broader drone propulsion market.

Canaccord released updated research on Midas Minerals (ASX: MM1) with a $1.50/share target on the company. “Midas Minerals has reported its first diamond drilling results from the Deblin prospect within its Otavi Copper Project in Namibia, with all three initial holes intersecting visual copper sulphide mineralisation,” analyst Paul Howard wrote. “While assays are pending, the scale and continuity of mineralisation observed represent an encouraging start to resource definition at Deblin and support the broader prospectivity of the Otavi tenure, in our view. Deblin looks to have a similar size potential to that of T13 (~10Mt) and as mentioned in recent research, we see potential for T13 extensions, Deblin and Spaatzu to host a risked ~340kt CuEq (contained metal) over time (~21Mt @ 2.4% CuEq unrisked). This is in addition to the current 10.5Mt @ 2.0% CuEq for 211kt CuEq at T13. Combined, we see potential for a risked 550kt of contained copper equivalent metal at three deposits/prospects at Otavi over time.”

Following a site visit to Predictive Discovery’s (ASX: PDI) Kiniero and Bankan gold projects in Guinea, Euroz Hartleys released updated research on the company with a Buy and $1.28/share target (up from $1.12/share). “The Kiniero visit confirmed a strong ramp-up since first gold in Dec’25, with operations now sustaining steady-state production and both mining and processing outperforming plan. Continued improvements in plant performance and overall execution supports reliable output, better cost visibility, and a growing free cash flow profile. Bankan remains the core value driver within the portfolio, with its scale and development potential underpinning PDI’s longer-term growth outlook. PDI is transitioning towards being a diversified mid-tier gold producer, with Kiniero underpinning operational credibility and funding capacity, while Bankan delivers a step-change in scale for the Group +400kozpa target.”

Far East Capital’s Warwick Grigor shared his thoughts on Koba Resources (ASX: KOB) in his latest weekly report - “Having secured such an extensive ground holding with many past mines, Koba seems to have picked up a project with enormous upside potential in commodities that are very much in favour at present. At a share price of 2.7¢, the market capitalisation is only $7.7m. That is a fraction of the other prospective tin producers on the ASX. Thus it would seem as if the market is not factoring in any potential success yet. Maybe that means there is only upside from here. How much will depend upon exploration results.”

Energy World Corporation (ASX: EWC) was covered by Triple S Special Situations Investing, pitching EWC as an asymmetric special situation: a debt-free LNG developer trading at ~A$0.052 that could soon hold roughly A$0.12 per share in net cash if its US$350m turbine sale closes, with its near-complete Philippine LNG terminal effectively free.
