Atomic Eagle (ASX: AEU) reported shallow, flat-lying uranium mineralisation from the first drilling in 12 years at Muntanga East, part of its Muntanga Project in Zambia with intercepts including 6.0m @ 706ppm eU₃O₈ from 24.0m within 24.1m at 323ppm eU₃O₈ from 13.4m. Most of the mineralisation intersected lies less than 50m from surface, indicating low-strip open-pittable mineralisation. Midas Minerals (ASX: MM1) identified high priority drill targets at its Otavi Copper Project in Namibia following analysis of 2,300 surface samples with planning for RC drilling of the Merwe, Segen and Devon targets underway. Target definition follows the intersection of near-surface high-grade copper and silver mineralisation at the Spaatzu Prospect where Midas intercepted 16m at 2.55% Cu and 72.6g/t Ag within 44m at 1.36% Cu and 36.8g/t Ag from 23m. T-13 drill results are expected in February.
Strategic Energy Resources (ASX: SER) signed a Non-Binding Term Sheet for an Exploration Joint Venture Agreement (JV) executed with Sumitomo Metal Mining Oceania Pty Ltd (SMMO) at the Bulimba Gold Project. SMMO can earn up to 80% interest through $6M expenditure and 7,500m of drilling over 5 years; up to 90% through completion of a Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS). Middle Island Resources (ASX: MDI) confirmed significant zones of copper-in-soil anomalism by infill soil sampling program in the Priboj Project area, Serbia. Large-scale soil anomalies defined at two priority prospect areas: Jelaca Prospect: +200ppm copper-in-soil anomaly over a 900m x up to 400m area, with individual assay results up to 1,167ppm Cu, and Oglavak Prospect: +200ppm copper-in-soil anomaly over a 600m x up to 400m wide area, with individual assay results up to 5,876ppm Cu. Power Minerals (ASX: PNN) reported further high-grade niobium and rare earth results from its shallow auger drilling at the Santa Anna Project in Brazil, confirming a broad, near-surface mineralised weathered zone and supporting plans to advance deeper drilling and deliver a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate in Q1 2026. South Harz Potash (ASX: SHP) reported an additional copper-gold mineralised area has been identified by rock chip sampling at its Glava Copper-Gold Project in Sweden, just 300 metres from existing workings and adjacent to the southern boundary of the Glava 100 licence. Rock chip assays, from a 9km2 area, returned up to 9.88g/t gold and 2.88% copper. Covered by Proactive.
Cygnus Metals (ASX: CY5) announced high priority gold drilling targets, with permit applications in progress, at the company’s Chibougamau Copper-Gold Project in Quebec. Cygnus is continuing to aggressively explore the highly prospective Chibougamau Project and grow resources in line with its value creation strategy. Two high priority drill targets have been identified which are both known to have significant high-grade gold mineralisation and little modern exploration.
Western Yilgarn (ASX: WYX) executed land access agreements over Zones 100 and 200 at its West Julimar Bauxite Project, providing access to extensive areas of lateritic bauxite immediately adjacent to, and between, its existing JORC-compliant Bauxite Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) areas. Charger Metals (ASXL CHR) reported further encouraging drill results at its Lake Johnston.
Lithium and Gold Project following the recent high-grade “Xmas Gold Discovery”. Recent reverse circulation drilling at the Richard Gold Prospect returned, 8m @ 0.86 g/t Au from 60m. These results build on historic drilling at the Richard Prospect which recorded several notable gold intercepts, including: 5m @ 7.15 g/t Au from 24m, including 2m @ 16.36 g/t Au, 12m @ 0.60 g/t Au from 52m, including 2m @ 2.23 g/t Au. Enova Mining (ASX: ENV) completed more than 65% of its maiden diamond drilling program at the East Salinas high-grade rare earth project in Brazil, with 652m drilled across Bald Hill and Naked Hill and drilling now underway at Hairy Hill, as the Company targets up to 1,000m of drilling to test REE mineralisation along a 4km strike where surface sampling has returned up to 2.17% TREO, with assays from the first four holes expected in early February to guide follow-up drilling and metallurgical work.
Lakes Blue Energy (ASX: LKO) provided a production testing update from the Wombat-5 well in the Gippsland Basin, confirming gas flow from all tested zones following nitrogen blowdown, including contribution from the lowermost sand package. Gas has flowed to the flare stack, with testing ongoing as drilling fluids are cleared ahead of measured flow and pressure build-up analysis. The Company also appointed Michael McGowan as General Manager of Operations to support ongoing drilling and exploration activities, including Wombat-5 and proof-of-concept wells at the Portland Energy Project in Western Victoria.
Investigator Silver’s (ASX: IVR) divestment of its 25% interest in the Molyhil Tungsten–Molybdenum Project in the Northern Territory to Tivan Limited (ASX: TVN) has completed, and Investigator has received the $750,000 completion payment.
BIOTECH
Proteomics International (ASX: PIQ) secured new intellectual property protection with the Canadian Patent Office granting a patent for PromarkerEso, the proprietary first-in-class blood test for esophageal adenocarcinoma (EAC). Esophageal cancer represents a critical global health challenge, ranking seventh in cancer-related mortality and eleventh in overall prevalence. Esophageal adenocarcinoma, the predominant form of esophageal cancer, is commonly caused by chronic acid reflux, also known as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and is often asymptomatic in its early stages. Imricor Medical Systems (ASX: IMR) added a third US site to its VISABL-AFL clinical trial, with Virginia Commonwealth University Health receiving IRB approval to participate. The additional site supports Imricor’s FDA approval pathway for its MRI-guided ablation products, with procedures expected to commence in March following final installation and training. The expansion continues the Company’s progress toward broader US regulatory clearance of its MRI-compatible electrophysiology platform.

DXN Limited (ASX:DXN) signed a strategic non-binding MOU and Shareholder's Agreement with Super Sistem Indonesia (SSI), a key player in Indonesia’s critical digital infrastructure space, to establish a 50/50 Joint Venture in Singapore. The JV will focus on delivering prefabricated modular data centres through a new Jakarta-based manufacturing facility, enabling DXN to localise operations, comply with Indonesia's data sovereignty rules, and bypass hefty import tariffs (often 20-40%).
BPH Global (ASX: BP8) announced assay results for copper, silver and selected rare earth elements (REEs) from two batches of riverbed soil samples collected from the Johor River in southern Malaysia as part of the company’s plans for live seaweed cultivation trials in the river.
