Robex Resources (ASX: RXR) announced commercial production at its Kiniero Gold Project in Guinea, having satisfied the commercial production criteria under both its Senior Secured Facility Agreement with Sprott and the Guinea Mining Code. Commercial production status was achieved following the first shipment of gold on 11 February 2026, which comprised ~197 kilograms of gold, equivalent to 6,336 troy ounces. Robex said Kiniero is now positioned to support the development of Bankan, once its merger with Predictive Discovery completes in coming weeks.

 

Acusensus (ASX: ACE) expanded and extended its multi-function enforcement contract with the Western Australia Road Safety Commission, doubling the number of trailer-based units under contract. The agreement has been extended to at least October 2028, with six additional units to be deployed from July to September 2026. The incremental contract value from the expansion and extension is expected to total approximately $13 million (excluding GST).

 

Canaccord initiated coverage on copper and gold explorer Midas Minerals (ASX: MM1) with a price target of $1.30/sh. “Led by veteran African explorer and mine builder, Mark Calderwood, MM1 acquired Otavi [and] is accelerating exploration across the project, with three rigs operating, and a fourth rig scheduled to commence shortly, targeting Spaatzu, Merwe and continued drilling at T-13. Despite a number of walk-up targets, the project remains at an early stage, in our view, with only ~36% of the tenure subject to modern exploration, highlighting substantial remaining discovery potential,” analyst Paul Howard wrote. 

 

Kairos Minerals (ASX: KAI) boosted its cash balance to $35 million following receipt of a second $10M payment from PLS for a Pilbara tenement sale in 2024. Wildcat Resources (ASX: WC8) completed a metallurgical diamond drilling program at its Bolt Cutter Central lithium discovery in WA’s Pilbara, with interpreted spodumene intersected in all holes. The stacked pegmatite system remains open at depth and along strike, with RC drilling planned in Q1 to support step-out and infill work. The program marks further progress toward a maiden Mineral Resource estimate at Bolt Cutter.

 

Western Yilgarn (ASX: WYX) discovered a new high-grade gallium-bearing mineralised system at its Ida Holmes Junction Project, strengthening its Western Australian critical minerals strategy. Recent and new zones of high-grade gallium mineralisation have now been confirmed at Ida Holmes Junction approximately 39km apart. Chimeric Therapeutics (ASX: CHM) advanced its CHM CDH17 CAR T trial to Dose Level 3 at 450 million cells, following completion of Dose Levels 1 and 2 with no safety or off-target effects observed. Patients at lower doses continue to demonstrate disease control and anti tumour activity, including stable disease out to 13 months from a single dose, with CAR T cells detected in blood for more than 12 months, supporting persistence as the study moves toward Phase 1 completion and Phase 2 dose selection.

 

Strata Investment Holdings (ASX: SRT), a major backer and the largest shareholder of Cobre, welcomed Cobre’s announcement of a $60 million capital raising to acquire up to a 51% interest in the producing Sierra Atacama Copper Project in Chile’s Antofagasta region. The asset is currently producing ~400 tonnes of copper cathode per month, with optimisation and expansion potential beyond 1,000 tonnes per month. The market responded strongly, with Cobre shares surging 38% following the announcement.

West African Resources (ASX: WAF) reported on diamond drilling results from the M5 and M1 North deposits at its Sanbrado Gold Operations in Burkina Faso, including 28m at 6.1 g/t gold 400m reported below the M5 South Underground Resource. Drilling will be incorporated into the company’s updated Resource, Reserve and 10-year production plan due in Q2 2026. WAF also released an updated investor presentation ahead of its attendance at the Mining Indaba conference in Cape Town.

 

Syrah Resources (ASX: SYR) confirmed the US Department of Commerce has finalised antidumping and countervailing duty rates of at least ~160% on Chinese graphite active anode material imports, with measures subject to a final US International Trade Commission determination in March 2026. If affirmed, the duties will apply for a minimum of five years and are expected to support a fair US AAM market, strengthen ex-China supply chains and materially improve Syrah’s competitive position, including potential increased demand from its Vidalia facility.

 

Ark Mines (ASX: AHK) executed a Memorandum of Understanding to undertake a processing trial of monazite ore from the Sandy Mitchell Rare Earths Project in Queensland. The trial will commence this month, with the aim of recovering thorium and other rare earth elements from the Company’s monazite ore using existing low-cost cracking technology. BMG Resources (ASX: BMG) will commence a 10,000m diamond drilling program at its 518,000oz Abercromby Gold Project in WA this month, targeting strike and down dip extensions of high grade lodes within the Capital Deposit that remain open. Previous drilling returned results including 30m at 10.01g/t Au and 26m at 6.07g/t Au including 7m at 21.22g/t Au. Element 25 (ASX: E25) advanced its Butcherbird Expansion Project in WA, targeting an increase to 1.1Mtpa manganese concentrate production to supply steel markets and its proposed HPMSM facility in Louisiana. Key contracts are progressing, with construction and mining services awards expected in Q1–Q2 CY2026, and leading consultancy SLR engaged to support funding due diligence. Manufacture of major equipment including the logwasher is complete, procurement of remaining plant items is underway, and mechanical completion and commissioning remain on track for Q1 CY2027.

 

Andean Silver (ASX: ASL) announced strong drilling results which continue to extend the known mineralisation at its Cerro Bayo Silver-Gold Project in Chile. An accelerated drilling program at the Laguna Verde Mine Complex this quarter aims to grow the current Cerro Bayo Mineral Resource Estimate of 9.8Mt @ 353g/t AgEq for 111 Moz AgEq and upgrade further resources to the Measured and Indicated categories. The first outturn of Campaign Two delivered 1,147 ounces, produced on 10 February from the gold pour conducted on 3 February 2026. At current gold prices, the parcel refined at ABC Refinery is valued at approximately $8.15 million.

 

Vita Resources (ASX: VTA) is set to commence its maiden auger drilling campaign at the Ninnis Gold Project in WA, following approval of the Programme of Work. The programme will consist of ~1,200 holes followed by assaying and geochemistry review. The Ninnis Project (E39/2110) covers 25km2 and is located approximately 6km north of Genesis Minerals Limited’s (ASX: GMD) Mount Morgans Gold Mining Centre.

 

Equus Energy (ASX: EQU) continues to advance pre-FEED at its 100%-owned Equus Gas Project on the North West Shelf, progressing a Field Development Plan to assess a capital-efficient tie-back of its certified gas resource into existing offshore and onshore gas and LNG infrastructure. Supported by ~US$1.2m from Alcoa to date, pre-FEED is targeted for completion in Q2 2026 ahead of a structured partnering process, positioning the Project against forecast WA domestic gas shortfalls later this decade.

 

Middle Island Resources (ASX: MDI) reported assay results from an expanded soil sampling program at the Tisovik Mine area within its Bobija Project in Serbia, confirming extensive, coherent zones of silver, lead, zinc and antimony soil anomalism, significantly broadening the known mineralised footprint. Last week the Australian Government launched the February 2026 edition of Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade)’s Australian Critical Minerals Prospectus, as it positions Australia to lead on the production of critical minerals. Perpetual Resources’ (ASX: PEC) Beharra Project – which has some of the lowest impurities of any known silica sand project in the Mid-West Region of WA, and product targeting high-end Asian glass markets including solar PV cells, cover glass and other specialty glasses – is included. PEC is open to investment in the project, as well as debt funding options.

 

Native Mineral Resources (ASX: NMR) commenced drilling at Podosky, part of its Ravenswood Gold Joint Venture with Haoma Mining, following completion of a cultural heritage survey in January 2026 in partnership with the Birriah People. Drilling aims to verify historic drilling and provide additional information to assist mine planning, with mining expected to commence at Podosky in March 2026.

Paradigm Biopharmaceuticals (ASX: PAR) announced the publication of a peer-reviewed manuscript titled "Effects of pentosan polysulfate sodium on joint structure and function out to six months in naturally-occurring canine osteoarthritis" in PLOS One, a globally recognised peer-reviewed open-access scientific journal. Key findings included that PPS-treated dogs demonstrated sustained reductions in chronic pain and normalization of gait symmetry through 26 weeks (six months), compared with placebo.
