Midas Minerals (ASX: MM1) completed a $28 million share placement to accelerate exploration at its Otavi copper-silver-gold project in Namibia. Midas is drilling at two locations on Otavi, including two diamond drill rigs on the high-grade T-13 copper-silver deposit and two reverse circulation (RC) drill rigs at the Spaatzu prospect, and will commence drilling on additional deposits and prospects. It also released a maiden Mineral Resource for Otavi’s T-13 deposit of 10.5Mt at 1.6% copper, 21g/t silver containing 169,000t of copper and 7.1 Moz of silver or 2.0% copper equivalent for 211,000t CuEq, and plans to update it later this year. Duratec (ASX: DUR) secured a $281 million contract through its 50:50 Duratec Ertech Joint Venture with the Department of Defence for major infrastructure upgrades at HMAS Stirling in Western Australia, supporting Australia’s future submarine capability under AUKUS. The award follows completion of the ECI Planning Phase, with the project now transitioning into full delivery over ~24 months, taking total works value to just under $300 million and reinforcing Duratec’s position in strategic Defence infrastructure.

 

PainChek (ASX: PCK) signed a landmark Master Services Agreement with Sabra Health Care (Nasdaq: SBRA), a leading owner of healthcare real estate assets across North America, that will see PainChek funded for as many as 20,000 beds across its 329 skilled nursing, long-term care and senior housing facilities. The agreement represents a strategic commercial milestone for PainChek, establishing a repeatable, capital-light go-to-market mechanism that will facilitate broad PainChek adoption across Sabra-owned senior housing communities. The standardised design, based on a 30,000kpta hydrogen plant, supports global deployment and licensing across configurations ranging from 10ktpa to over 100ktpa multi-train developments. The PDP enables Hazer and KBR to deliver tailored designs more efficiently for feasibility studies and front-end engineering, strengthening the alliance's go-to-market strategy for low-emissions hydrogen.

 

Larvotto Resources (ASX: LRV) reported processing plant refurbishment and underground development at its Hillgrove Antimony-Gold Project, which is progressing on time and on budget, with first production expected in mid-2026. The project’s direct connection to grid power remains a key advantage, supporting reliable development activities and positioning Hillgrove for comparatively lower operating costs in a tightening energy and supply environment. The project’s strategic positioning has also strengthened further, with antimony now formally included in the Federal Government’s Critical Minerals Stockpile, with Hillgrove expected to be one of only two Australian sources capable of supplying it. Element 25 (ASX: E25) completed an $18 million share placement to fund expansion of its Butcherbird Manganese Project in Western Australia, supporting a planned increase in production capacity to 1.1Mtpa of manganese concentrate. The expansion underpins feedstock supply for the company’s proposed high purity manganese sulphate facility in Louisiana, alongside existing steel market supply, and follows a previously secured $50 million NAIF debt facility, with the project fully approved under the WA regulatory framework. Syntara (ASX: SNT) is covered in a Euroz Hartleys report by Analyst Seth Lizee, maintaining a $0.22 price target, implying ~547% upside to the current share price of $0.034. The note follows discussions with industry leader Dr Adam Craig, who highlighted the significant unmet need in myelofibrosis and described Amsulostat as a “differentiated, potentially disease-modifying asset”. METALS AND MINING

 

Kairos Minerals (ASX: KAI) delivered a major upgrade to the Mineral Resource Estimate at its Mt York Gold Project in the Pilbara, increasing the resource to 2.08Moz at 1.05g/t gold following 27,000m of drilling in 2025, which added 700,000oz at a low discovery cost of $13.40/oz. The updated resource now comprises 66% Indicated material, with further conversion from Inferred expected in 2026 alongside additional growth at depth across a 4.2km mineralised trend. A 50,000m drill program is underway in 2026, fully funded by a $35 million cash balance, as the company advances towards a Pre-Feasibility Study and Final Investment Decision. Aurum Resources (ASX: AUE) achieved a 34% increase in its Napié Gold Project Mineral Resource Estimate to 1.16Moz gold at 1.2 g/t Au, including a maiden Indicated Resource of 0.35Moz. The update pushes Aurum's combined group resource to 4.2Moz gold across its two Côte d'Ivoire projects. Covered by Business News. It also extended gold mineralisation at the BST1 deposit at its Boundiali Gold Project, with drilling confirming the system extends at least 220m below the current Mineral Resource Estimate and remains open at depth and along strike. New results from BST1 and BDT3 will be incorporated into the next resource update in Q3 CY2026, as Aurum prepares for a Pre Feasibility Study in Q2 CY2026 and a Definitive Feasibility Study later in the year.

 

Power Minerals (ASX: PNN) completed due diligence on the Morro do Ferro rare earths project in Brazil and is moving to finalise the acquisition, with technical work confirming exceptional magnetic rare earth oxide concentrations that are expected to underpin project economics. Historical drilling has returned high grade results including up to 3.53% MREO over 2 metres and broad intervals such as 100m plus zones from surface, with the deposit remaining open at depth and along strike. The project is located within the Poços de Caldas rare earth province and will be advanced through further drilling programs aimed at defining a maiden resource and testing expansion potential. Sierra Nevada Gold (ASX: SNX) confirmed a high-grade, district-scale copper-gold system at its As Safra Project in Saudi Arabia, with rock chip sampling returning up to 7.6% copper and 32.3g/t gold across multiple zones, including a ~400m high-grade gold corridor at the Central Gold Zone. Results from the As Safra Southeast area align with a discrete IP anomaly, while strong Cu-Bi-Te geochemical associations continue to vector toward high-grade feeder zones and intrusive-related mineralisation. Perpetual Resources (ASX: PEC) has commenced a maiden field exploration program at the recently applied-for Paraíba Tungsten Project in northeastern Brazil. The program represents the first on-ground assessment of the 8,714-hectare landholding within the highly prospective Seridó Mineral Province and is designed to rapidly evaluate the presence and style of tungsten mineralisation present. Koba Resources’ (ASX: KOB) 2,500m drill program is underway at the high-grade Everest Prospect, within the Yarramba Uranium Project in South Australia.The current program is the first follow-up of the high-grade mineralisation Koba discovered at the Everest Prospect in 2025.

 

Charger Metals (ASX: CHR) delivered strong new drill results from the Medcalf Spodumene Project at its Lake Johnston Lithium & Gold Project in Western Australia’s Yilgarn. A total of 3,418m (diamond and reverse circulation) was drilled in the March quarter, with results confirming wider spodumene mineralisation at depth and extending the system to 600m down dip. Latest assays highlight significant lithium intersections and demonstrate that the Medcalf resource remains open to the south-east.

 

Clara Resources Australia (ASX: C7A) completed a fully integrated digital geochemistry database for its Mareeba Gold Project in Far North Queensland’s Hodgkinson Province. This marks the first modern digitisation, compilation, and assessment of historical WMC geochemistry data for the project. The database establishes a strong foundation for target definition and supports upcoming drilling activities.

 

Heavy Rare Earths (ASX: HRE) shared an update on its planned ~2,500m drilling program at the South Ridge tin deposit within Prospect Hill, South Australia’s largest and most advanced tin project. The maiden campaign is set to include up to 24 reverse circulation holes and five diamond holes, totalling approximately 2,500 metres, and is designed to generate the data required to support a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate at Prospect Hill. Ragnar Metals (ASX: RAG) commenced its maiden drilling program at the Harnäs Gold Project in Sweden. The Phase 1 program will comprise up to 12 diamond drill holes for approximately 1,200m, targeting high-priority zones defined from recent geological, geochemical and geophysical programs, including DDIP reprocessing, channel sampling and rock chip results. The drilling program is designed to confirm the geometry and continuity of high-grade gold mineralisation, with a focus on testing down-dip and along-strike extensions of known mineralised zones and interpreted high-grade shoots.

 

Celsius Resources (ASX: CLA) provided an update on key workstreams following the recent appointment of Bardin  Davis as Managing Director. These workstreams are focused on supporting the completion of funding and a Final Investment Decision for the MCB Copper-Gold Project within Q4 2026. 

 

Kali Metals (ASX: KM1) commenced a Phase II 4,000m RC and diamond drilling programme at its Marble Bar Gold Project. The program will infill drill spacing from ~200m to ~40m to better define near-surface mineralisation at the Sherman, Churchill and Tiger prospects, while also testing down-dip extensions where previous drilling returned high-grade results. Drilling is expected to be completed within 4–6 weeks.

 

Novo Resources (ASX: NVO) announced that Rohan Willams, an experienced exploration geologist has accepted the position of Novo’s General Manager of Exploration effective 15 April 2026.

 

Western Yilgarn (ASX: WYX) was granted three key exploration licences, covering 201km² in a highly prospective part of the Glenburgh Gold District, in WA. The ground has strong geological similarities to Benz Mining’s (ASX: BNZ) nearby 510koz Glenburgh gold system. Multiple high-priority drill targets have been identified from recent geophysical work. Native Mineral Resources (ASX: NMR) restarted mining at Blackjack in northern Queensland, with drill, blast and mining operations now underway at the Blackjack South pit, while Podosky site establishment is scheduled to commence next week, with mining by the newly engaged contractor targeted for late April 2026. A Far Fanning drill program has also commenced.

 

OIL, GAS & ENERGY

 

Cue Energy (ASX: CUE) executed a binding multi year Gas Sales Agreement with the Northern Territory Government, securing up to 3.2PJ (Cue share) of gas supply through to 2034 under take or pay terms with CPI linked pricing. The agreement underpins a final investment decision to drill two new wells at the Palm Valley field, with drilling set to commence mid 2026 and production expected in the second half of the year, supporting increased output and long term contracted cashflow. Prominence Energy (ASX: PRM) commenced its first on-ground exploration program at the Gawler Hydrogen and Helium Project in South Australia. The company launched a soil gas survey across Petroleum Exploration Licence 803 within the Eyre Project, measuring helium, hydrogen, and methane concentrations across its ~64,000 km² project portfolio. Galilee Energy (ASX: GLL) finalised the Zydeco-1 well design and directional drilling plan, marking a key milestone as the company advances toward a Q2 2026 spud. A revised casing design delivered approximately US$100,000 in cost savings, with additional savings expected from reduced mud volumes. The Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) is nearing completion, and the company's US Advisory Board has been instrumental in progressing the well to this advanced stage.

 

Condor Energy (ASX: CND) completed its Technical Evaluation Agreement (TEA-86) work programme offshore Peru, ahead of schedule. The final study confirmed that hydrocarbons were generated at the right time and in the right place to potentially fill the company's identified exploration targets. Condor now holds a strong technical foundation supporting multi-billion barrel exploration potential and will move forward with converting its licence and securing a strategic partner.

 

BIOTECH

 

ReNerve (ASX: RNV) advanced its NervAlign Nerve Guide Matrix into Stage 3 of its scaled commercial production process, marking a key step toward FDA submission. The verification stage will generate product for formal preclinical testing and final manufacturing development, with completion targeted by the end of 2026. The Nerve Guide Matrix is being developed as a potential alternative to donor nerves for peripheral nerve repair, supported by ongoing FDA engagement as ReNerve progresses toward commercialisation. Radiopharm Theranostics (ASX: RAD) announced the final patient has been dosed in the U.S. Phase 2b imaging trial evaluating RAD 101 in individuals with confirmed recurrent brain metastases from solid tumors of different origins. RAD 101 is the Company’s novel imaging small molecule that targets fatty acid synthase, a multi-enzyme protein that catalyses fatty acid synthesis and is overexpressed in many solid tumors, including cerebral metastasis. Koonenberry Gold (ASX: KNB) is discussed in Stockhead as an explorer which Lion Selection Group's Hedley Widdup believes has significant upside potential. “They spread their discovery potential from 10 to 15 really good targets on one project to nine or 10 projects across New South Wales which all have good targets,” Widdup tells journalist Bart Bogacz. “KNB are discovering something at the moment up near Armidale. But potential exists across a lot of their portfolio, so I think that’s one which is really fulfilling that line value of having a lot of opportunities.”
