East Coast Research released an updated report on Krakatoa Resources (ASX: KTA) with a price target of $0.026, representing a total upside potential of 278% from the share price of $0.007 at time of the report. The report notes "the valuation is anchored to Zopkhito's de-risking trajectory. Phase 1 confirmed that the historical antimony-gold system is drillable under modern conditions and that both metals are present at material grades. Phase 2 is the mechanism by which that resource gets defined. It is a structured program of drilling, modelling and metallurgical work with a defined technical endpoint. Successful delivery and further de-risking are the key catalysts, and JORC conversion is where the strongest re-rating case is made."

Canaccord Genuity released a research note on EQ Resources (ASX: EQR) with a price target of A$0.50, representing an upside potential of 85% from the share price of A$0.27 at the time of the report. “We see delivery of increased mining inventory as a fait accompli and a potential valuation catalyst for the shares. Looking into the JunQ, we expect feed grades to improve by 100% to ~0.15% through improved in-situ feed blend, delivering production growth of up 130%. Once delivered, we expect the expanded plant to comfortably produce >160,000MTUpa, representing a ~400% increase from CY'25 production volumes."

Equity markets were sharply weaker during the month, driven by a sharp escalation in geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. The resulting disruption to energy markets saw oil prices rise materially, contributing to higher inflation expectations and renewed concern around the outlook for interest rates and global growth. This environment favoured energy and resource-exposed businesses, while placing pressure on rate-sensitive and consumer-facing sectors. Learn more or subscribe here.
